ASHOKA BATTERY MANUFACTURING CO. was established in 1968 as a manufacturer of "APEX" Brand Lead Acid Storage Batteries. The products are Automotive Batteries, Two Wheelers Batteries, Batteries for standby application, SMF (VRLA) Batteries, Sealed low maintenance batteries, Tubular Batteries and Stationary cells.

We have a direct marketing group with necessary resources, expertise, commensurate infrastructure coupled with a wide network of marketing executives along with the service personnel for last three decades, to gain customer satisfaction.

The high technological level is assured by rigorous procedures of quality control in the design, fabrication, assembly, testing and system management make "APEX" a product of ABMC, the nation's market leader of Lead Acid Storage Batteries.

AUTOMOTIVE BATTERIES

The company designed, developed 12 volt ranges of lead acid automotive batteries generally conform JIS, DIN & as per ISI specification IS: 7372 accepted & passed all tests from the Govt. authorised laboratories to meet the requirements of four wheelers light/heavy vehicles, likes Cars, Jeep, Tractors, Buses, Trucks etc with strong durable hard rubber containers with versatile multiplied design which covers high voltage, impact. Plastic yield resistance, ageing etc. As a result it reduces internal loss, saving of electrical energy, improving battery performance and increase life of the battery & extra tough polypropylene casing which provides greater impact resistance and protection against damage, special grid mass design to hold the active material firmly in place therefore plates give out standing power & life, low resistance high Porosity Porvic (PVC) separators give complete protection against internal shorts and result in high performance and longer life, specially designed vent plugs used with heavy duty terminals posts are designed to provide high current and ensure minimum voltage drop as temperature rise.

TWO WHEELERS BATTERIES

The company designed, development 12 volt and 6 volt ranges of lead acid storage batteries to meet the requirements of two wheelers vehicles like-Yamaha, Hero Honda, Kinetic Honda, Scooters, Auto Rickshaw, Bullets, Suzuki etc conforms JIS and as per ISI Spec. IS: 1143 accepted and passed all tests and mistake for Indian road and climates, strong durable hard rubber containers and extra tough PP casing, Specially designed grid pasted with active material for longer life and tough vent plugs with high porosity PVC separators with Glass Mats used for better performance and longer life.

BATTERIES FOR STAND BY APPLICATION

The company introduced, designed developed wide range of 6 volt batteries Lead acid type to meet the requirements of wireless (Radio) system/telecommunication system, emergency light etc with comprehensive products special range of 12 volt batteries, specially for photovoltaic system, electrical vehicle, instrument and medical equipment emergency lights solar lanterns, P.C.O. along with U.P.S. and invertors systems. As per ISI specification IS:7372 and other standards and international specifications built in strong durable hard rubber containers and in robust clear (PP) case and rugged construction ensures mechanical durability, balanced design of the plates, glass mat separators are used for electrical separation between the plates. They have high resistance to acid and low Electro -conductivity. The high porosity of the separators retains adequate electrolyte for the reaction of active materials in the plates, micro porous ceramic (fire retardant) vent plugs used to prevent water losses and possibility of explosion with heavy duty Terminal posts are designed to provide high current and ensure minimum voltage drop as temperature rise and incorporation of latest technical developments in lead acid battery technology.

The company designed, developed wide range of SMF (VRLA) Batteries for stand by applications. Telecommunication etc. As per DOT (TEC) specification and others standards specifications with the help of their research and development/quality control team along with heat sealed low maintenance batteries and shortly introducing with tubular and stationary cell batteries.
